01 / THE CHALLENGE
Make it easy to remember a purchase and decide whether it is worth trying again. The focus is a personal collection, with prices, ratings, notes, and favorites instead of a stock-management workflow.
02 / THE APPROACH
The local edition brings the collection, purchase details, and personal experience into one responsive interface. IndexedDB stores records and photos in the current browser, and a service worker makes the app available offline after setup.
03 / DECISIONS THAT MATTER
Tried, untried, finished, and favorite views help a person browse their own history. A purchase can keep its original quantity and price without requiring a running stock count.
JSON export and restore give the owner a way to move their collection. Backup validation happens before records are replaced.
The interface explains browser storage, offline setup, and the need for backups. There is no automatic cloud recovery, and exports are not encrypted.
04 / VERIFICATION
05 / BOUNDARIES
Records belong to one browser and device. Clearing site data or losing the device can remove them. Export a backup regularly. This edition does not provide accounts, cloud sync, or an access lock for a shared device.
