Meet Tupy
My name is Tupy, and I'm just a regular guy from a small Midwestern town who decided to share his story. I grew up working blue-collar jobs—from powerplants to running heavy equipment to shifts in papermills. Life hasn't always been easy. I've struggled with addiction, depression, and weight, and not long ago I was over 60 pounds heavier than I am today.
When I was 10 years old, my dad took his own life. That moment shaped everything. It's where my motto "Never Hold Back" comes from. I promised myself I wouldn't keep things bottled up, and I try to live every day with that in mind. This personal experience drives my passion for mental health advocacy and creating safe spaces for open conversations.
Over the past few years, I've also been teaching myself everything it takes to actually build and run projects online. At first, I started simple—messing around with WordPress sites. But then I dove deeper. I've been learning Python, exploring frontend frameworks, working with cloud platforms like Google Cloud and AWS, and setting up automation workflows with tools like n8n. I've taught myself how to work with vector databases, how to experiment with AI avatars and metahumans, and how to build structured systems that actually work. You can read more about this journey in our Tech & AI section and learn about my blue-collar tech perspective.
On the creative side, I taught myself video editing in DaVinci Resolve, audio production, and all the little things it takes to produce a full podcast from scratch. If it breaks, I fix it. If it doesn't exist, I figure out how to build it.
The Tupy Show
The Tupy Show is like Seinfeld meets The Truman Show meets According to Jim. It's part comedy, part real life, and part family story—because I'm a dad too—and it's basically my show about nothing that turned into something bigger.
At first, I just wanted to learn how to edit video, produce podcasts, and get better at creating content. But over time, it's grown into a real way for me to share my journey—ups, downs, struggles, wins—in real time.
I'm not acting—I'm living. The cameras just happen to be rolling. As a dad, a creator, and someone still figuring it out, I let people in on the laughs, the struggles, the growth, and everything in between.
In a way, The Tupy Show is my personal journey in action. People get to watch me build, learn, and sometimes fall on my face, while I figure out life and business. It's raw, unfiltered, and exactly how life really feels.
Catch episodes on YouTube, Spotify, and Twitch.
Jovaux Beauty
Through all of this, I couldn't do any of it without Carli. She's the most important person in my life. We've been through so much together—highs, lows, fights, wins, and everything in between—and somehow we keep going. I honestly don't know where I'd be without her.
Carli is the founder of Jovaux Beauty—and she even designed and built her own website from scratch. I just handled the domain and DNS side of things, but the vision, design, and execution were all hers. Watching her build Jovaux while supporting me through my journey has been inspiring.
She's not just my partner—she's my anchor, my teammate, and proof that building something real with love and grit is possible.
